Our client, a global entertainment company is excited to add a temporary Logistics Associate to their team! The Assistant will be responsible for creating export/import documentation, facilitating the shipping of goods, processing carrier shipments as well as preparing product inspection reports. The Assistant will also participate in meetings as well as manage tracking databases while working with accounting on special projects.
1-3 years experience in shipping, logistics or related position
Understanding of the logistics vendor landscape
General computer skills – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
Customer service skills and client-centered mentality
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and self manage tasks
***This is a long-term temporary role based out of Orange, CA starting asap through Sept 2019. The schedule is 8:30am-5:30pm, M-F and will be $16-$17/hr. depending on experience. ***
