Our client, a major entertainment company in Burbank, CA is currently seeking an experienced Contract Administrator/Paralegal to assist its fast-paced Business & Legal Affairs department. The ideal candidate will have experience in an entertainment law firm, talent agency, production company or studio, with heavy electronic filing and contract review experience. This person will handle incoming paperwork and invoices promptly in coordination with Finance, Accounts Payable and Production Accountants and communicate with talent as needed.
BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university. Certification in Paralegal studies from an ABA-approved paralegal school is beneficial, but not required.
Previous relevant entertainment experience is required.
Capable of working with minimal supervision, liaising directly with Business & Legal Affairs professionals
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as Microsoft Outlook.
This is a long term project starting immediately with a compensation of $30-$33/hr.
