Project Manager - Themed Entertainment

Our client, a themed entertainment organization focusing on interactive multimedia and art experiences, is looking for Project Manager to support their new exhibition build! In this role, you will develop and manage the exhibition development and budgeting: you’ll manage the technical facility impact, integration design, and internal exhibition fabrications projects, while ensuring that creative intent is being carried out throughout all phases of development. You’ll also coordinate sourcing and procurement, develop the RFP process for contractors, review payments for contractors, and manage the change-order process, among other duties.  You should have:

- a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Technical Theatre, Engineering, or a related field

- a minimum five years of experience within project management for themed entertainment, exhibitions, museums, or location based development projects

- proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera

Technical Project Manager

In this role, you’ll be an integral part of the organization, ensuring the successful development, planning, execution, and closeout of all aspects of technology, throughout various project lifespans. You’ll be responsible for technology project schedules, establishing critical path tasks to ensure the desired completion date with an eye towards risk mitigation; you’ll work with various internal teams to ensure the project is executed within schedule constraints; serve as the primary liaison for external parties, review, coordinate, and approve contracts; develop and oversee all budgets related to technology coordinate the receipt, storage, and installation of items during the install phase, and manage facility planning, among other tasks. You should have:
- a Bachelor’s degree [degrees in technical theatre highly preferred]

Attraction and Exhibition Designer - Themed Entertainment

Our client, a themed entertainment collective focusing on interactive multimedia and art experiences, is looking for an Experiential Designer to join their team! In this role, you’ll lead the design, development and detailing of large-scale interactive exhibition elements and environments: you’ll ensure that artistic intent is maintained throughout the design project; coordinate with other internal and external teams to create durable and maintainable designs compliant with structural and material requirements; conduct ongoing hazard analysis on a variety of exhibits, prioritizing guest safety and operation concerns; and develop and maintain department drawings, among other tasks. You should have: 

- a Bachelor’s degree in Art, Theatrical Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field [Master’s degrees a plus!]

- 5-10 years of related professional experience within themed entertainment, attractions, theatrical design, or exhibition design

- a high level of proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Sketchup

Lighting Systems Designer - Themed Entertainment 

Our client, a themed entertainment collective focusing on interactive multimedia and art experiences, is looking for a Lighting Systems Designer to join their team! In this role, you’ll oversee all architectural and show lighting systems design for internal operational facilities, exhibitions, events, traveling exhibits/shows, and other special projects: you’ll draft all architectural/show lighting drawings; work closely with internal parties to ensure all lighting needs are accounted for, and liaise with contractors and site managers to oversee on-site hardware installation and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the success of lighting systems. In this role, you’ll work hand-in-hand with the Electrical Systems Designer to design and review electrical and lighting systems for company wide projects. - a Bachelor’s degree 

- 3-5 years of related professional experience designing/drafting lighting systems plans for facility and exhibition show lighting for commercial construction  [experience within theater, entertainment, or events a plus!]

- expert level proficiency with AutoCAD and Vectorworks

- familiarity with NEC standards and guidelines
